Sol

A daily harbinger of scorched earth,
A constant burden for toil,
A rising provider of light and rebirth,
Calling forth green from dark soil.

A bringer of death and symbol of strife,
standing equally as majestic giver of life,

We honor our sun, our world complete,
We salute our burning star,
the brilliant anchor to our planetary fleet.
